^^ Leave it on. The protection is worth the extra 2 minutes it takes to remove.

You mean every other? It could start vibrating.

How often do you get under your car?

Yeah, oil changes suck on the Gs because of the cover. Still love the car to death though. Congrats on the purchase! The g35 coupes are amazing cars. Best combination of sport and luxury with endless possibilities in upgrading.

The cover has a hole where the bolt for the oil comes out , so you really don't need to take the cover off . At least i never do when i do my oil change the cover would get some oil spill maybe but no big deal.

I've noticed that hole, but its difficult when changing the oil filter along with the oil. BTW, how often do you guys change your oil filter? I maybe put 6k miles a year on my car and do roughly three oil changes within a year and always change my filter. Do you think its necessary to change the filter all the time? I use Mobil one fully synthetic and a Mobil One oil filter.

Just change the filter every oil change, it's only a couple bucks.

Yea, what's worse is when your jack slowly lets off while you are under the car without you noticing. It gets pretty tight down there...

Get an aluminum under shroud that has a door you can remove for oil changes. 2 bolts and it takes all of about 10 seconds to access the drain plug and filter. PM Tollboothwilley if you're interested. He makes them for our cars.

you can get Manual/Pneumatic Automotive Fluid Extractor, Holds Up to 9 Liters of Fluid
runs with compressor for about $80 and you will never need to take cover off, oil filter can be taken out from the existing under-shield hole.
Fluid extractor is clean and you can do other stuff while oil is being sucked out.
you can get it from Costco

I use it it's easy and clean. Works great.

Not a bad idea but the aluminum offers other benefits over the flimsy stock cover. I ran over a big piece of tire tread a while back and it trashed mine. Would hate to see what it might have done in the engine bay if it punched through the stocker.
