Not a good idea to go on a SPONSOR's thread and threadcrap about how much you don't like their product. If you don't have anything nice to say then don't post. Simple as that.

Where do we live soviet russia ruled by the vendors? This isn't like going into a vendor's for sale thread and just repeatedly saying how ugly something is. Don't you think vendors want to hear if we do or don't like something so they can use their funds wisely? Don't try to shut everyone up when they are perfectly fine respectively voicing why they don't like a product. Simple as that.

Smile RE Style - G35 Cabon Fiber Hood

Don't worry there are other styles, I know the big URAS style louver one is pretty extreme, so check out these other styles...

Here's another alternative for a louvered hood instead of the TS style. It's the RE style for the G35.

Here's the carbon fiber RE Style.. It's basically the RE Amemiya style FD3S vents fitted to the G35.

Smile CW Flared style Infinit G35 Carbon Fiber Hood

CW Style... It's the Lexus Altezza CW style vent + a D-Max / BN Sports style rear vented flare.

(notice the flared edge on the rear of the hood)

This hood is more conservative than the other styles, not as extreme.

Smile CFH - Carbon Kevlar Drift Hood, G35

Drift hood in Carbon Kevlar. We can make any of the 3 styles including the OEM Carbon Kevlar Hood.

I have a few questions about your products, and please don't take it as if I'm trying to point fingers or single you out. But as a person who owns a vented fiberglass hood, I would just like to ask so members who are considering buying your products are properly informed.

Do you offer any type of rain guard that prevents water from going into the engine bay? If so, are the guards already incorporated into the hood or do you have to separately mount them to the hood? I know that TS / Seibon style hoods don't have rain guards to prevent water from going into the engine bay.

What is the quality of your fiberglass hoods? I know that carbon fiber will always be sturdy and the reason why I ask about fiberglass versions is because I own the Hikkata Dori hood and it is wafer thin, to a point where I can push down on it with one finger and it will flex. See post here:

Also, what can members expect to pay, shipping wise? I was quoted $900 for my hood, unshipped to me in Texas and then an additional $125 shipped to me. That's over 1k in a hood alone. I could upgrade my valve body, get a plenum spacer, and other small minor engine upgrades for less then that.
