When buying a G35 what "bugs" should I be looking for?

A big hello to the G35 forum.

The big question here is " When buying a G35 what "bugs" should I be looking for?
I am presently looking to buy a 04 G35 give or take a year.

Loving the style of the car and not knowing much else I turn to you to find out the skinny.

I have done some searching and have not found a post that answers all my questions.

OP, you should do a bit more searching - the info is definitely out there. But it will depend on the year and if you go 6mt or not

Yes +1 to more searching.

You will hit a Mod Bug if you stay here any longer.

you need to add door locks and radio problems. Search feature is really your best friend

Not a bug, but a piece of advice... if you go with an 04 wait until you find one with the Brembo brakes if at all possible. Even if you don't plan on tracking the car, I guarentee if you hang around this forum you're going to want them eventually, and you might as well get them right off the bat rather then looking later. Hell, you could even sell them and make a bit of cash off the transaction to put towards other interests/parts of the car.

Otherwise, strongly consider an 05. Improved interior, some of the nagging issues (radio/ac) were no longer a concern, improved rear spoiler (if you get one) better stock rims (The 19" Rays) etc etc.

Thanks to those for the useful input

for those who directed me to the search function that I already know about..(If you are as bright as you try to make yourself look like then you should know what to put in here)

Drove the G35, didn't like it, expected more for the price that they go for, bought a V6 accord instead.

Little maxredazz bought an Accord, doesn't like our G35s or us giving him advice/direction. Glad little maxredazz is gone....with any luck!
