Turbo being installed soon... heat wrap help!
I'm going to be installing my turbo kit within a couple weeks, and I'm planning on heat wrapping almost EVERYTHING that's in that engine bay.
What size width(s) should I get, and roughly how much of each in length? Good brands that are reliable?

I went to jegs for mine. The width would depend on the piping and the spacing. If you get 1in like most of mine, then you over lapp them each by .5" when you install it. Also, make sure you soak it in water beforehand. They also sell Metal Zip ties which you will need to finish the job. oh, the type I used was header wrap on all the hot pipes, and rubber hoses near the pipes.
Dont forget to get hear wrap/shields for your a/c lines as they will burst from the heat. Trust me, I have had the same replaced 3 times now.
Good luck!

Do you know roughly how many feet you used roughly? And as far as the heat shield/ wrap for the AC lines, can I use the header wrap just to be safe? Or should I get some that is specifically designed for rubber hose?
