I have an 03 5AT. Not sure if it's been asked before. I couldn't find it. Is it possible to update the navigation in the car? Get a new disc maybe?

Note that they sell updated maps for the nav system. It doesn't change the functionality of it.

 

Yeah thats what I meant. Does the map/interface of the map change it's the same look?

 

i bought an updated nav dvd from Navteq.

 

I have an 04 (pretty much the same as your 03). When I have bought the updates, it comes with two disks. One to update the firmware, and the new map DVD.

I have not noticed any updates from the firmware updates. It did not change the look/feel of the navigation system at all.

The only difference I have noticed was corrected map data.
