Dashboard reflection problem

I previously posted a problem I had with reflections off the windshield of my Willow-colored dash. I found the perfect fix from DashDesigns.com. They make a precisely fitted dash cover for the G35. I got one in charcoal velour and it completely eliminated the reflection problem. It also looks fantastic and will protect the dash completely from sun damage. It cost me $47.95 delivered and took about 1 week.

Re: Dashboard reflection problem

I think it's the same kind my grandma had on the dash of her '74 Hornet. But maybe it will look better in the G.
Maybe.

Re: Dashboard reflection problem

Here are some pictures, The black on top of the binnacle is a piece of black felt I added on top to further reduce reflection. The velour has a slight sheen that is way better than the Willow dash itself, but still slightly visible in the right light conditions.

Re: Dashboard reflection problem

Re: Dashboard reflection problem

I think I'd rather be caught driving the afforementioned Hornet. They make low-gloss vinyll treatments that might help some.

Re: Dashboard reflection problem

I don't think the pictures quite do it justice. Plus, it'll look even better when I get my fuzzy dice.
