trying to get car on blocks so i can powdercoat wheels
ok i am going to powdercaot my 19's and get new tires but to do that im gunna have to take all four at once so how do i put the car on blocks or stands is there room for a jack and stands
hahaha just kidding. Do you have the Rays?
question is are you lowered yet?
when i put on my coilovers i put my car on stands. There was enough room to get the jack underneath. you want to raise the front first, one side at a time, put a stand or block underneath each side then you can jack up the the whoel rear at the same time and put the stands or blocks underneath.

I'd do the jack stands. Think you can get them for about $20 a set, and they'd come in handy later on. You shoul get all of your wheel lugs broke loose before raising it up. That way, you won't be tugging on the car while it's up in the air (potential risk of rocking off the stand).
If you only have the factory scissor jack, you need to do this systematically. Start with one side (front) and raise it up about half way. Stick a stand underneath and let the jack down. Go to the other side (front) and raise up till wheel comes off ground, set stand and let the jack down. Go back to the first side (front) and raise up till wheel comes off ground, set stand.
Do the same for the rear. The reasoning is that when you raise your car up, it makes it lean something fierce. If it is only supported by small jack stands, you run the risk of tipping it over. So if you raise one side slightly at a time, raising the stands along as you go, it keeps the car more level and stable.

Getting our G35s on jack stands is easy, read the manual so you'll know the correct areas to jack her up and place the jack stands. I generally start with the fronts then the backs are easy. Like the other member suggested break your lugs loose before the tires are off the ground. Same goes when you're putting them back on, put them on snug before she's on the ground then torque the lugs when down. G/L

If i wanted to get my car on blocks without triggering the alarm how would I go about doing so? How many people would I need to make quick work of it without drawing too much attention?
valet mode with aftermarket alarm. or not turn on the factory one..
