good job masking it. i had a bitch of a time masking it with masking tape. and was hard to see where to mask too. i see u used electrical tape. never thought of that. doesnt look all that great on a overal stock car but will look much better if u get a lip or something

 

jk.'m not a fan of plastidip, but it doesn't look that bad. Not my style though

 

u should remove those lil grills in the bottom spray them with 4-5 layers of gloss black they look too dull behind the new plastidipped areas.

How is plastidip different than regular paint?

 

anything from a rattle can is not allowed anywhere near my car.....

 

plastidip is not paint

its liquid rubber used for tool handles

it peels off easily

 

plastidip is a rubber coating that looks like paint, but it's not. its actually able to be peeled off just like rubber

the plastidip is actually black. he probably put the clear coat on TOP of the plastidip to give it a slightly glossy finish as opposed to the flat black finish that plastidip provides.



on a side note, i plastidipped my ***** to give it that african look
