manumatic shows in gauge cluster, new for 05?

manumatic shows in gauge cluster, new for 05?
I just test drove an 05 coupe, and noticed that the current gear shows up right in the middle when you're in manumatic mode. Did it always do that or is that a new feature for 05? Thanks,

it has always been that way in the coupe... pretty cool feature. The Sedan only showed you top gear.
