OP you can buy a pc buffer and a few compounds and pads and do it yourself to take out the scratches. Then you can add a wax or sealant over the top to protect it. Or else you can go pay a professional every time you want to clean your car up.

Completely incorrect, it is very well known that automatic car washes are terrible for your car's paint.

Yes, I do detail my own cars. As you can see by my sig I have two black cars. Luckily one is new so it won't require as much prep work. Unfortunately Obsidian Black G35's are one of the pro detailers favorite cars. Yep...because the paint requires alot of maintenance. The most important part of detailing is the prep work, polishing the paint itself to a high gloss then sealing and deepening that shine with a sealant (my favorite) or a pure carnuba wax.

yeah... lesson learned

oohh and btw if you ever bring ur car to the dealership to get work done on it, dont let them wash it either. If it's a brand new car on their lot then they'll hand wash it but if ur going thru service and getting something worked on, they'll run it thru an auto wash...happened to me a few days ago..

Blah both of these options require money lol. I guess I'll just have to take it to a detailing shop though.
yeah... lesson learned
Ah very cool my good sir. and since I have no experience in the art of detailing cars I will probably have to take it to a detailing shop and have my wallet raped.
