I love TL's I would choose that over a G sedan IMO

 

Serious? I used to own a g35 sedan. I test drove a TL couple times before, and I would way rather drive the g sedan over a TL.

in defense of rebuilt title cars.

My car was recently t boned and deemed totaled by insurance. It was not due to the damages done to a car but repair cost to current value of the car ratio. So in some cases "rebuilt" titles have nothing to do with the damage car has sustained before.
But it obviously helps to know what were the damages and see pictures of it. I believe that state patrol should have some kind of record of that (pictures) if carfax or any other agency does not.

In my state (WA) you purchase a totaled car, fix it and then go to a state patrol to pass the inspection (they make sure you fixed it correctly). You provide with receipts for parts and they match it to a pictures of a damage. I don't know if they keep those pictures on a record for much longer after that inspection is completed, but if they do I assume you can somehow obtain it from them and see what kind of damage car sustained.
