Not so happy introduction!

Well ive been lurking around for quite some time and got some pretty helpful hints from the group and wanted to hold off before I created an introduction thread so i can add a couple mods and show off the G a little bit.

I purchased an 05 IP G35 Coupe, 52k miles, Stock, and very clean. January 18th

Such a beautiful and Joyous moment lol! A couple weeks later I decided to throw some Rims on her which is usually my first direction after purchasing a vehicle, I went with a staggered set 20" Pinnacle 275/35, 245/35

Excuse the pics but there all I have at the moment, and soon you will realize it doesnt matter lol. Again pretty happy about my purchase and got a very good deal. Lets fast forward not to much to February 18th an exact month after my purchase and before I can even make the first payment on the car the rain strikes and the crazy kids come out to drive . Im sitting at a red light and I hear tires sliding not to far away and I look to see where its coming from and before I can turn back to my left a Dodge truck comes ripping around a corner and smashes into my drivers side

Bent the front suspension all to hell, stabilizer, central arm, hub and bearing, knuckle, The works! Pretty much my whole drivers side.

The kid never stops and I didnt have enough time to get a plate number or anything. Luckily there was a guy at the corner that seen everything that went down and chased the guy for about two miles before he got him to stop. Luckily the kid did have insurance and told the cops he wasnt trying to run he was just looking for a safe spot to stop (2 miles down the road) Im just hoping they dont decide to total out the car because I really enjoyed it for the short time of owning it Lol.

Well Hopefully ill be able to post some after pics if it is able to be repaired.

Depends on how far the fender was pushed in. It might have some frame damage and if it does, It would suck.

You need to get spacers and a drop IMO. Possibly 22s.

But on a serious note, when you get away from heavy 20s, you'll see there's a much better car on top of those shoes.

It's great that someone chased the driver down for you. Good to hear.

Yeah, i was relieved I was sitting in the same spot for about 15 minutes and the cops never showed up. The guy who chased him down came back and let me know that he had the kid stopped 2 miles up the road and there happened to be a sheriff in the area.
