^^^^^that was my immediate first thought/question....is there anyone who has tried or dealt with both alarm systems and is willing to chime in???

by the way i jumped on the website and checked out all the videos....hands down this device is cool and has some different features but some things are more for show than actual practicality. The touchpad on the windshield seems pointless to me other than if you just want to show off to your friends because you can do everything from the remote that you can do from the keypad. Plus it seems to have a slower reaction time from the keypad itself than with the remote.

this is definitely more expensive than the viper but what puts this over the viper in my book is the push button start and how flawlessly it works and how flush it looks on the dash.

Another question I have is what is the farthest distance that one can remote start the car from? And please give a realistic answer because I know that Viper states it can be remote started from 1mile but i know from personal experience that is not the case...

Right now its:
DW Tech = 1
Viper = 0

**EDIT** New Idea!!
This just shot into my train of thought...I was wondering if you could have some components of the Viper alarms system and the DW Tech pushbutton start system functioning together as one. What I envisioned was the Viper Key Fob with all of its normal functions (remote start, alarm system) along with DW Tech's push button start technology. It would be like having the best of both worlds because I feel that DW key fob, although slim and rather compact, is still rather large as compared to normal key fobs.

The reason why I would decided to skip 03-05 G's was because of the keyless start and bluetooth feature (head/taillights also but thats easily replaceable) that came in the 06-07 G's but DW's push button technology and a good pioneer head unit w/ BT, Navi etc. will take care of both of those respectively. What do you guys think??
