i can't believe this question was asked. this thread is for g's/v35,36,37/skyline not the altima or bluebird. the altima is not a sports car. i love nissan but there is no trade off for rwd and fwd when it comes racing.

no way in hell altima coupe over genesis.. The genesis is a nice looking more sportier car AND its got RWD. AND its 4 cyl option is turbo.

Don't hate cause its a hyundai.. Hyundai is on par with toyota and honda these days.. They've stepped their game up and don't sell POS cars anymore.

The damn Hyundai Eqqus has a freaking iPad for an owners manual.

 

If you go with the altima, make sure you get fitted for your training bra.

 

 

I would also choose the Genesis over the Altima as a more exciting driving experience. But I still think Hyundai is a POS company. Just because they got their ish together in the last few years doesn't mean at least to me that it's "on par" with more prestigious award winning company's like Toyota and Honda that constantly win J.D. Power and Associates awards not to mention their safety honors. I think that Hyundai is definitely on their way there if they continue what they are doing but unfortunately at the moment still a POS brand in comparison to more reputable brands. Oh yea just because the Eqqus has an Ipad for users manual doesn't mean it's worth $50-60k or make it an engineering marvel because at that price and type of sedan I would rather have a Benz or BMW. Just my $0.02

Hey! I resemble that remark.

 

I had an 01 Hyundai Tiburon for a few years. It was actually really nice. Easiest car I've ever had in terms of getting warranty work done on it. They even replaced a couple burned out head lamps for me

I agree. For the money, it makes no sense to choose the Altima coupe over the Genesis coupe unless your a brand *****. IMO, Hyundai is better than Toyota. I'd rather give my money to a company who still cares about enthusiasts.

I agree that the iPad doesn't make it worth $50-60K but what comparabily equipped Benz can you get for the money? I'm not paying $10K just for the three point star. Now I would go with a low optioned 535i over an Equus if I wanted performance over luxury.
