I know the Bose modls have an amp back there, do the base models have the same wire harness.

 

I honestly don't remember the exact details, but check the electronics stickies for this info. Even if its wired, you need an amp that accepts and/or sends specially phased audio, which are few and far between. You'd be better off following some DIYs in the electronics section and doing a double din conversion.

 

What are you trying to do? Put in a bose system or setup an aftermarket system?

 

Don't cut corners....... Do it the right way.

 

take out ALL the desk and speakers. Put in NEW quality ones, along with a double din. AND if you want a sub add that 2.

 

^ +1, if your going to upgrade your audio do it all dont cheap out.
