Question about a fishy 06 g35

I've been looking at a 2006 6mt coupe with 31k miles for $19.5 after tax tag and title for a week or two now. I went and test drove it this past weekend. Everything seems fine except for a good sized screw in the rear left tire which makes a noise when driving. I ran an AutoCheck report on it as well and everything checked out. This car has been at the dealership since mid December. It seems like a great deal so i'm wondering why it hasn't been bought up in 3 months. Anything I should be looking out for?

The rev-up motor was known for oil consumption issues. I would have that checked out before purchasing the vehicle.

That's my biggest fear, but would I be eligible to have Infiniti repair it if I get oil changes and services done every 1000 miles or whatever it is they require if oil consumption is suspected?

6mt coupes rarely sell in the winter..esp in colder climates.
Oil consumption issues are washed out once you hit the end of powertrain warranty 5 years/60k miles. If you're still under warranty it needs to be verified by the dealer that the oil is being consumed, they will not just give u a motor

^^Powertrain warranty is 6 years or 70K miles.

hmm so it sounds like it would still be covered. Now I have a tough decision since there's another G (2005) with twice the miles for the same price, but it has all the service records through an infiniti dealership. Kinda sounds like a safer bet IMO. Sounds like i'll have to sleep on it.
