I personally wouldn't buy a modded car if I could avoid it... even exterior mods like that can come with mistakes and damages.

Wheels, grille and debadged is not even close to being modded! Wheels are bad but '06 coupe wheels can be purchased and p/cd for very little $$.

That coupe is about the right price for an '04 with less than 60K miles on the clock. You might want to stay away from the revup motor/6MT G35s due to OC issues! Good Luck finding what you want.... Remember, you get what you pay for!!

Chances are, a stock look has less of a chance of prior abuse.

I found another G, but its missing the square piece on the front bumper where the front license plate would go. Do you think I could find just that piece for sale somewhere?

is oil consumption really that much worse on the 06? i mean, enough to say "hey i'm going to buy only 05 or below because of that issue"

Yea bought my g35 with the same piece missing but ive seen alot of them for sale. The only thing is they're unpainted which is the reason i havent gotten one yet. Dont wanna risk matching the paint.
