Re: pain in the ***

Drop the pedals in a bucket of hot water for 10 minutes. The hot water will soften the rubber.

Good luck.

Re: pain in the ***

I learned on the first one!
When they are cold, the rubber is hard as a rock!
I let mine set out in the sun for a while till they were hot and it was very easy.
Either do it in the summer or soak them in hot water as stated above.

Be a man! Use your muscles, fingers, a mirror and a small screw driver. If you don't get a carpet burn on your right elbow and at least one blister on one finger you don't deserve to be sportin' aluminum pedals on pre 2005 models.

Re: pain in the ***

The brake pedal was a pain for me. Used a screw driver and a mirror and got it on.
