So I went to the dealership today to have my Privat Netz swapped from my 04 G35 coupe to my new 2005 G35 coupe....which has the stock 17 inch rims, but for some they said they cant. Because the 04 discs are 12 inch and the 05 are 13 inches and also they is an extra bolt that does something...does anyone else have that issue? or they just giving a line of bs? and is there a work around?

 

That extra bolt they're most likely referring to is on the front hubs, its only purpose is to prevent people from reversing the OEM staggered wheels, it can be removed without issues.

 

yes the bolt can be removed....i remember reading that the stock 17s wouldnt fit over brembos, iirc.....
