Yes it was a 70 year old lady who traded it in & I'm 100% sure. She is Datsun fan, like no joke! From my understanding all she drove was Datsun's way back in the hay day then went to Nissan's (& all her cars were a manual shift). She traded the G in for a 2009 370z in a 6MT. I just need to buy a new set of those front chasis bearing bushings which are a little worn out (they go for $45 a peice) along with a realignment which is recommended when having these replaced at the same time. Along with a good detail (mostly interior) being the tan is hard to keep up. I'm going to apply Leatherique to the leather.

Why would the bearing bushings be worn at 17,000 miles. Did this 70 year old lady get out her heat gun and remove the upper film protector pieces? Did you meet her?

Actually I did breifly meet her. It was traded in to an Infinti dealership. Not sure about the 2 upper clear pieces ? Had it looked at. Looks fine. Just needs a detail and those bushings replaced. It appears she obvioulsy had not driven it much and has all the service records.

Also found out the correct name on those bushings. Its called a Pressure Rod Bushing. And within time they rot away. The rubber part wether the car is driven or not. There was a bulletin on it several years back. Guess an aftermarket set might be a better choice vs OE equipment ?

Had no idea. I also hear that the 2006 and 2007 manual shift cars came with 298 HP and automatic tranny cars have 280 HP.

So 7k on manual shift cars and 6500 on automatics ? Gotcha. I had a tech set it at 7k for laughs even though I really don't beat the hell out of my cars. The car does however feel a lil slow vs my previous 135i coupe lease which I had just turned in. But I have really not driven the G all that much.
