I've got an 06 6MT with 83k miles on it. I bought it with 75k miles on it. I have complete service records. No OC problems. Lots of nit picky little things but the only major issue was clutch replacement at about 66k, done under warranty.

I love mine. Look forward to driving it every day.

However, the interior quality/ fit and finish of the first gen coupes, well, sucks. Lots of creaks and rattles, cheap plastic, etc etc. It is also loud inside. Mostly road noise. I bought mine cheap and with high miles so this doesn't bother me...much. The 08 model went to the second gen interior design which is sooo much better quality (I have an 07 G which has the same interior so I know firsthand the difference between the two.) For that reason alone I'd go with an 08 if possible. But, if the interior stuff doesn't bother you, then by all means go with the 07.

There isn't a better looking coupe out there that doesn't come from Italy and cost less than your house.

As far as snow, hard for me to say since I live down south. However, we got a good six inches that stayed on the ground for a week or so not long ago. I've got summer tires on mine and was expecting the worst. I was very surprised at how well it performed. Not as good as the X which I'd give an 'A' but I'd give the coupe a 'C+'. It might be that the LSD on the 6MT helps out a little. VDC was a hindrance.

Manual vs auto? For me, MT only. I'll ignore ALL of the arguments on this issue and give the one irrefutable fact I know about the MT: To ME it is simply more fun to drive. Period. I never feel completely in control in an AT.

And the back completely ruins the beauty.
If you buy it, you either need to replace the body kit asap or burn it completely.
