Smile 03 headlight question

Hey guys as most of you know I just picked up an 03 G35 AT. Last night I turned on the headlights to drive home and they where clear/blue! I had HID 6K's on my 4runner before I bought my wife a Tahoe and they were very similar however there are no after market ballast! All my reasearch says the 03 with a manufacturer date of 12/02 doesn't have the HID headlights but my low beams definitly resemble them! When i turned the high beams on they are yellow though. I'm thinking the previous owner changed out the bulbs but its a dramtic difference from the yellow as I said they look like 6K. Anyone else with an 03 please comment. I was thinking about upgrading to HID's but now there is no need as they are very clear! Now I just have to get the high beams the same!

if u look closely on the headlight lens somewhere on the corner theres an imprint of what bulb size the car came with. take a look and ull know if u have hids or not. and u will not see the oem ballast since it is bolted underneath the headlight

Is it not fairly easy to tell if you have HID's or not? There is quite a difference...
