19" stock rays what's the best color to powercoated? Advice needed!
 

Like the title says, I need some advice guys I have a 04 dg coupe with oem rays I'm stuck between a gunmetal metallic grey or glossy black or black chrome? I had never even heard of black chrome till yesterday! Lol if it helps my roof is painted glossy black

Semi Gloss Black

Didn't even pay attention to that color why do you say semi-gloss? Got any pics?

I took my stock 18s on my Dg gloss black and love the way it came out.

I used plasti-dip to do it but you get an idea for black on dg.

Id say with a black roof keep the theme going... Gloss black I think will look best. Id also paint your grill and rear diffuser though.

Personally I always liked the oem hyper silver, I'd never paint/plastidip/powdercoat them but since you asked, I'd do something other than black, maybe a gunmetal finish if anything.

Semi Gloss is, well, between gloss and matte black. The reason I prefer semi gloss on everything I had done was because on Gloss Black you can see finer scratches more and dings. Semi Gloss holds up well from what I've seen. Think of Gloss Black as like when you have a black car and you get swirls on it from washing it with rags. That's why I try to stay away from gloss anything, plus glossy stuff looks tacky/ghetto in my opinion.

Powder coat them in 24k gold! Bling bling!!! Nah seriously I would do a Lil darker than stock in a semi gloss.

Lmfao Shane now you sound like my bro and his freaking lowriders lol I'm stuck between gunmetal/semi-gloss black and gloss black man this is a very hard for me to choose also I do like the oem color but I want to stand out a lil bit more than the other g35s in town!
