lets say you get in an accident and the drivers airbag deploys, and you have the airbag control module reset to delete the crash codes but you dont replace the airbag, will the airbag light on the dash go away or will it come back solid? or will it be blinking? my buddy bought his car back from the insurance but in order to pass the chp inspection the airbag light has to be off so he doesnt know what to do. Thanks

 

The light will still be on if there is no airbag or if it's blown.
