I'm getting some black 20's with a chrome lip for my G. Im wanting to know how deep the lip should be and what offset, and if any wheel spacers should be needed to make my ride look more aggressive, and I don't want my tires to be hitting my fender when i go over a bump. I also don't want to do anything to my fenders. Any recommendations on the depth of lip, offsets and wheel spacers?

I could have sworn I just saw a thread like this and the person was putting 20's on their G, wanted spacers, and didn't want to roll fenders. I'm looking at 20 or 25mm spacers for my G. Heard you don't need to roll fenders, but unsure about 20's with spacers.

hahahaha I actually just saw it. But they werent putting 20's it was the stock 19's. I know ill have to roll my fenders if I put 30mm. As far as dropping the car I don't think thats possible as my driveway is too steep lmao haha

It depends on the wheel width.
If you go with a 10.5" wide wheel you will want a different offset then if you went with an 8.5" wheel.

Forget about spacers for now. Figure out what wheels you like, then chose the width and offset you want from there. If they dont offer the offset/width that you want, then you can factor in spacers to get you where you want to be. If you find the right wheel you wont need a spacer.

Yea I want to lower my G, but it's really hilly in Bama, so that makes for a lot of uneven roads. I just don't like the wheel gap.

I just dont like my rims tucked in the fenders is all. I like when part of the wheels are out of the fender. Looks sweet. My stock 18's i think is 8.5. So a 10.5 seems fitting. Im looking to get staggered wheels tho.

The best way to learn is to read through those posts. It will help you get to where you want to be. Look at other peoples set-ups, check their specs and compare.
That way when the time comes to purchase you will feel confident in the purchase.
