Hi Everyone,

I lost one of my Intelligent Key's and wanted to get a replacement. The dealership quoted me "$260 for the mech and $40 install"!!! I almost dropped the cell when I heard this.

Is there any cheaper options out there? Can I get around the "Intelligent" key mech and just make copies of the mechanical key much cheaper?

While I love the ease of use with the Intelligent key and going keyless to start the car, the thought of dropping $300 on a replacement is crazy. Hopefully there's a cheaper option in getting a replacment out there???

i got a remote from them, service was good and comes with installation instructions. I plan on ordering an ignition key from them too.

 

ebay. search g35 coupe intelligent key and youll find some for like $40. most will even come with programming instructions to DIY
