Heavy Coupe Doors - Is there a way to improve the door stops (dentents?)

With our doors so heavy, is there anything that can be done to strengthen whatever mechanism that holds them open at the different door stops. I have to park on a very slight incline and have trouble with my door always closing instead of staying open. Your ideas are appreciated.

^ I always thought they automatically closed most of the time. Don't even have to push it closed, it'll close on it's own will.

Oh wow now that you mentioned it, i hated this, every time i'm parked angling the wrong way and I have to open my door and reach in to grab something, the door would always slam shut on my leg, love is pain.

I'm sure you could like, grind down the kinks in that rail...but do at your own risk. I have no idea how much would be appropriate, and it would suck to make it nearly impossible to open or close the door haha!

You haven't learned the signature G35 foot-on-the-door-to-prop-it-open-while-you-get-out-maneuver yet?

I love this feature ... I always get out and start to walk away then I here it shut automatically and I lock the car!!!! I feel a little like 007... Im sure it was at least a $300 option from Infiniti, I'm glad my G has it...
