Door Lock Actuator Replacement

Door Lock Actuator Replacement
My door lock is not working, and I'm interested in replacing it with an OEM unit.
I know about the $5 PartsExpress fix, and have decided that a one-time fix with an OEM unit is not a bad idea.
The only concern I have is that it may not be a one-time cost.
I have tried and searched, and will continue doing so, but I can't find any examples where someone has replaced the lock with an OEM unit and had it go out again.
This leads me to believe that Nissan has issued an updated part without the inherent problems. Might this be the case?

id go the $5 route.. you can fix it over and over and over and still not add up to the cost of the OEM unit which does nto guarantee it happening.. You may not see a post about it goign out again since most owners know its common (espeically if its happened to them) and they know how/what to do to get it fixed.
