This last weekend, at the SCCA Autocross/SOLO2 event at Turner Field parking lot in Atlanta, I raced my G35.
This is first time I've ever autocrossed, so I was a complete novice. The G performed well, although a bit heavy around the turns. Body roll and understeer were my major complaints. I also learned to be very smooth on the throttle coming out of the turns, it was very easy to get squiggly. (I love the HP, TQ)
Although a complete newbie, I was good enough to take 2nd place, right behind an RX-8 (ok, getting beat by an RX-8 kinda gets under my skin, but it is a great car, and it was on my short list when I was buying a car. It probably handles lighter than the G).

Douglasville here, as far as the body roll goes a set of sway bars would really help out. If you plan on doing any other local events let me know, I've been looking to autocrossing myself.

Wow, 2nd place is great! I have a couple questions....were the Protege's modded? I think those cars look pretty cool and they supposedly handle very well. Also, an S10 truck was racing?!?! WTF?
