Hi,

I just got in an accident. So I'm driving on a road with 2 lanes on each side, separated by a wide median. Some old lady is sitting in the break in the median waiting to turn left onto my side of the road.

I merge into the right lane and slow down as a precaution in case she pulls out. So, when I'm about 50 feet from her, she pulls out INTO THE RIGHT LANE. I barely had time to touch the brakes. I hit her, the G goes airborne, and came down on all four wheels (thank god).

All of the damage seems to be to the left front of the car. I attached a crappy photo that shows some damage.

No one was hurt.

I need to find a good body shop to get my car fixed. I am not from NY but go to school here at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. Does anyone know of a good body shop anywhere close to West Point? It's about 50 miles north of NYC. Thanks for the help everyone

Hey Paul I got a bodyshop out in Long Island that can take care of the car and tow it over to their place for you from wherever it is. If you want to use them or more info PM me.

Do you have USAA? If so they will recommend an auto body repair shop and will guarantee the repairs for life. I have had a lot of success with their recommened shops.

 

Thanks for the info. I have USAA Insurance so hopefully they will guarantee the repairs. I have to say, g35driver is the best, you guys are always there to help out a fellow g owner. Thanks
