It's 68 degrees out but damn son, it was hot as hell inside the car. Sup with that?

I had to turn the ac on. In 68 degrees weather..... This car is WEIRD. Sometimes it normal, then sometimes it feels like I'm driving inside a tank in Iraq.

And this is the only car that does this. The sedan doesn't that's for sure.

You mean when the car sits out in the sun for hours and you get in and it's hot? Every car I have ever been in and owned is like this although not significantly hotter than the outside.

lmao. I know what you feel bud. But I just pass it off that my car is black and absorbs alot more heat than other colors. Even with the AC on youll still feel the heat radiating on you.

No! Again it 68 degrees in socal, no sun, just a bunch of clouds. This car gives off A TON of heat.

And it doesn't happen all the time. But today, it was BAD. I had to turn the AC on.

LOL! Yep. It was bad! I had the ac on and the windows down trying to get the hot air out, I was also fanning the air with my binder.

And yes, even with the ac on and window up, I felt the heat radiating all over.

This also happens at night in 60 degree weather. Only in this car.

I've driven the G37 Sedan loaner for 2 weeks, NEVER had this problem.

All joking aside, I believe there are engine heat vents in the cabin on the side of the transmission tunnel next to your shins. I have felt heat @ high rpm coming from those vents.

I was actually driving awhile ago and the weather is like 70's outside but inside the car is hot as hell.

I guess only way to solve this problem is to suck it up or turn on the ac :/

Was it dark light the sun just set or midnight? If it's been sitting there in the sun for a few hours already and the sun had set recently, it takes time for the cabin/car to cool down.

and if you are talking about sitting in your car while its idling and you are not moving, then yes, our cars do emit alot of heat. I've notice this with all the Nissans I have previously owned/driven (Maxima and Pathfinder).

OP, I know exactly what you mean. I'm in SoCal as well and I experience the same thing that you are. One MAJOR thing I don't like about our cars, it tends to get really hot really fast inside of our cars. Especially when I have passengers, sometimes the windows even fog up. I'm assuming its because of the heat that me and the passengers give off inside of my little coupe including the heat of our breath. This forces me to roll down the windows, but sometimes I or my passengers don't want the windows down which is inconvenient. Don't even get me started how bad it is when I leave it out in the sun in the spring or summer. Feels like hell! Literally. Haven't found a quick solution to this issue yet but still trying to think of something.

As stated on the link, all light creates heat, whether its 68 degrees or 100 degrees the light energy absorbed by the car is emitted in the form of heat. Glass itself has a tendency to retain heat better then metals, same reason why green houses are made out of glass.

You can either tint your windows, open the window or leave it in the garage.

All of you guys that are offering up these crazy possible reasons need to read jibbers posts more clearly. This issue has nothing to do with the sun, radiation, light, windows down, color of car, etc............

Say what you will about jj, he knows his **** when it comes to his car. And jj you're right, I don't have that issue with my sedan and have never heard of a sedan owner with this complaint.
