faulty door lock mechanism
faulty door lock mechanism
does anyone know if nissan/infiniti has addressed the issue of the faulty door lock/window mechanism where thieves can easily just lower our windows via the keyhole? has any changes been done with the '05's to correct this?
Anybody hear anything on this yet? My G got hit today and was wondering if Nissan addressed this yet.
Infiniti of Edison (NJ) says they have about 3 G35's a week with the key holes busted out. I called a few NYC dealerships and they haven't had any cases, it seems like it is NJ only.
Dealership wants to replace the entire door skin + lock ($1000-$2000 damage). Sounds pretty outrageous for a door that doesn't show damage.
Anybody want to share their experiences with repair work??
