Maybe I should just read up on the laws in my state so I know my rights before I get pulled over. Maybe even print off a copy for the "popo" incase they give me hell lol.

Cops are *******s in CA.... it also kind of depends on the city or area that you live in. Like I live in the OC and the cops usually aren't that bad with that sort of thing, but once you get down into the LA area.. i'd bet you ANYTHING that you'd get pulled over for sure..

You wouldn't be saying that if you lived in Cali lolollol

Quote: I can almost guarantee if a cop pulled up next to you he'd give you a ticket. It's a nation wide law that the side lights in front be amber. You can still have clear sides but you should have amber bulbs. I don't get this LED thing anyway, why would anyone want bright azz lights every where? The only place I'd put LEDs would be under my doors....blue!
Gary

Having some brighter lights in your interior makes things so much nicer lol. I've got 6k all over the interior and blue for the step lights. Simple and clean

And I'll post up pics tomorrow. Don't wanna wake anyone up going in the basement.

I agree. When I got pulled over by the CHP, he took his parter (must have been new) around to my clear corners and shined his flashlight on them and said something. I couldn't hear what but I am sure they were looking for the yellow.

.....and I DO have blue led's under my doors. Looks good and is not "loud" at all.

So members shouldn't try to help out other members by telling them what they might get crap for on their car??? I personally would appreciate someone telling me, if I didn't know, that something was illegal on my car and I could end up getting harassed and paying for it...

I love how the tuning scene is so big in Cali, but it seems that everything is illegal or not allowed

I got a $175 ticket for having blue LED's inside the front headlight housing. Judge booted it b/c I had just bought the car and she knew me. For me, the "kool, look at me" lights and mods aren't worth the potential ticket!
