i'm new to socal (santa monica area) and was looking for some good shops to visit.

also was wanting to know what all of you thought was the best air filter for the stock airbox? i'm gonna stick to z-tube + stock airbox.

I have an Apexi filter in my airbox but I've read alot of people use K&N

what about places that i could like get buy aftermarket stuff, and get them installed if i wanted. i don't have a garage or tools anymore

 

PepBoys in Santa Monica will have the K&N drop in filter or any quality auto parts store. They're quality filters that just need to be cleaned every 10K miles and you'll never need to buy another one!

apexi filter ftw but k&n is good tho n like gary said u can go to just about any auto parts store autozone,pepboys,etc n they'll have it

 

You need to understand........this is a Noobs question, most don't arrive here with common sense. All we can do is help them and hope they get better....

I can ge you ztube / stock airbox an extra boost with my custom intake mod. It is gaining much popularity among socal locals. Send me a PM if you are interested.

 

Buy parts from our vendors in the marketplace, get them installed/painted at R&J in Carson.

 

thanks guys. appreciate all the help. i did know i could get a K&N from most places, but i was wondering if the oil caused any issues? I had a 330ci before and was running a dry filter.
