Welcome to driver, yup the modding does get addicting, i already have the mod bug.. wait till you see some of the G's on this forums.. Will make you wanna get more n more mods every time.
Lots of people like upgrading the Y pipes on the OEM exhaust. You will get more of a throaty sound. Search around for a HR Y pipe. You can find them on the 350z forum all the time. I think they run around 100-150 ish
If your looking at best performance for price i would recommend replacing your stock cats with aftermarket high flow cats or test pipes.
oem cats are probably the most restrictive part on our cars. replacing them with aftermarket will result in power you will be able to feel and enjoy. The best aftermarket cat on the market are the Motordyne ART Pipes.. (i have them, love them)
Cool thing about test pipes/high flow cats is that it keeps the stock infiniti note but amplifies it.
