Question Quick question about a particular exhaust...

Hi I found a used HKS Hi-Power exhaust (Y-pipe, midpipe...) locally and the guy is selling it to me for $350. It seems like it's in a very good condition also. My question is- is this a good deal? Will I be able to resell it for that price?

I think that would be a HKS replica, not authetic... but would have to see pics to actually tell if its real or not

that doesn't appear to be authentic it looks just like my knock off hks. i got mine on ebay for less than 300 shipped. even though the exhaust is cheap you are going to want to buy the magnaflow xpipe($70ish) to help with rasp and drone and expect to spend up to around another $100 to have a muffler shop adjust it around so the tips don't hit the bumper, the pipe doesn't lay up aganist the rear diff and sway bar, also my flex pipe laid up against the floorboard also

Quite a few of the authentic (real) HKS HP exhaust systems had restrictions where the cross over pipe protruded up to 1" in the left bank. Mine was a little over 1/2" and the only reason to add the Magnaflow xpipe. It had nothing to do with drone although the restriction may have caused some rasp. The knock off HKS systems shouldn't have this issue, if you can buy a authentic system look down the pipe at the crossover point to see if the restriction exists....it's easy. I seriously doubt if you'll find a real HKS system used for $300 since they cost $1500 new!
