how much will it cost to install 1" lowering springs?

so i was reading around and all i want is to install a nice 1" drop on my G35 Coupe, just enough to where you can notice it, but wont be a problem with scraping, or getting all the camber kits, and all that stuff, so the springs are reasonably cheap, with product, tax, and shipping for $325 (idk if thats a good price or not)they're Eibach brand springs, and my main question is what do you think it would cost to swap my stock springs with the lowering ones?

Doing the job right is less costly after a while....!

Having a shop install your springs should be around $100. Then in a week after the springs have settled you'll need a 4 wheel alignment. In another six months you might notice your tires wearing and then you begin to hear this loud roar. You turn up your radio but that sound is still there, it won't go away....damn roar! You'll need new tires, the cost for replacement $800 for cheap tires and three times that for the good stuff. Maybe you should have bought the camber kit and had it installed with the springs then you wouldn't have needed the tires. (think about it!)

$325 for springs is a ton of money.... You can find some in the marketplace for cheaper, you just have to stick around and contribute to the forum for a bit longer to be able to post in there. I personally would go with z-htechs, I ran those on my car for a year or so and they were great. I would even sell you mine if I ever had enough time to run out and get the shipping stuff worked out...

sounds good, how much would you consider selling yours at, or how much are they when you bought them new?

I paid less then $200 for my 350z s.techs. But I paid way more then $100 for the install. Cheapest I found in Baltimore was $250 for the install.

If you have basic tools and a basic understanding of how things work, its a simple job, well worth saving the money. If you can turn a wrench you can do it.

Dont try to cheap out by thinking that if you lowered the car one inch, that you wouldn't need a camber kit. You're gonna need a camber kit if you want people to notice that your car is actually lowered which means lowering it more than 1''. Majority of the people here, start off with springs that don't lower much and then wish they can go lower. Then they buy new suspension and pay for the installation again because they didn't do it right the first time... that's what happened to me. I had Eibach sportlines which lowered 1.6'' fronts and 1.4'' rears and it wasn't even that noticeable. So i bought coilovers and lowered it more.

Install is very easy if you have a jack, jack stands and some standard wrenches. See if there are any locals that are willing to help or pay a local to help you. Probably a lot cheaper than going to any shop.
