Replacement radiator drain valve
Does anyone know the part number for the radiator drain valve for the OE radiator on a 2004 G35 coupe? Or possibly anywhere to get one from?
I have ordered one from Raceway Nissan (since I figured the 350z one would be the same) and one from inifnitipartsusa.com and they have both sent me what I think is the wrong one.
I ordered numbers 10 and 11 on this diagram:
I received part no. 21440-5V000 from both dealerships, which looks like the air relief plug from the heater hose.
The plug on the left is what I took off of my car and the one on the right is what I received from the dealerships. I'm not sure if the dealerships are ordering the wrong parts for me or if the part number is listed wrong, but the larger plug does not fit at all.
I have already checked autozone and kragen to see if they had any replacements, but they do not.

This page also says 21440-5V000: http://infiniti.sewellparts.com/oem-...oupe-2004.html
The one on the right in your photo actually looks like the correct one to me. That's what mine looked like.

that's so weird.. well I found one that looks the same as what I need but it's for a Nissan murano. I wonder if my radiator was replaced at some point.

hey all,
just had an issue where the radiator drain plug (****) broke off while i was draining coolant from 2006 Coupe.
followed this guy's advice to remove the broken plug
and it worked fine.
The replacement plug is indeed listed as the 21440-5V000 but this is the wrong for my vehicle at least. The Nissan Murano one fits, it's Dorman Radiator Drain Plug 61137 and I just picked it up at Autozone. It's this one https://www.dormanproducts.com/p-20209-61137.aspx
