I got a True dual exhaust, HKS style.
I changed stock cats to a megan resonated tp so i can attempt to make my car backfire. And i got stock headers.
Exhaust and test pipes has been broken in with 500 miles.
It only back fires rarely.. I get more hissing sounds out of my test pipes..

What could it be?? It feels like something is blocking to make my exhaust back fire.

i like the popping sound when i turn on my car, when my revs goes down, and when i shift gears..
just my own kind of taste

I was thinking Ichiba resonated test pipes would be better than the megan resonated test pipes.. What you guys think?

oh that kind of backfire.. sorry i thought u meant backfire at peak rpm with flames coming out the exhaust like my ricer neighbor likes to do on his rx8 lol... how loud is ur exhaust??? i have a greddy evo2 exhaust and it is quiet. then i put two dump valves/ exhaust bypass right before the mufflers and hooked up the switch in my car to control how loud i want it to be. now i get the sound that u are talking about =D i love it espesialy when i downshift. and the test pipes are some nonebrand name... shouldnt really matter since its just regular pipes with nothing inside lol

looks just as it did without them. only way u will see them is if you lift the car and get under it.

I don't get it, why would you want your G35 to backfire or even crack and pop? Most of us spend thousands of $$ to make our Infinitis run their best, you're doing it wrong!
