Have an 06 coupe with 20's car has just hit 40k... The last few nights I have been hearing the road noise more.. It sounds like it's coming from the rear part of the car.. My question is what could be going out or what is it that is making the car do that tires aren't that old so I know it can't be that! Any ideas guys?

 

Might be tire feathering, how's your alignment? Could also be a wheel bearing going out, but with 40K I doubt that's the issue.

 

Alignment is fine car drives fine. Could it be the brakes? I havent notice lose in braking but the noise tents to get at it's Max when I am braking. How long do brakes last you guys.. I don't drive hard but the most of the miles are street miles
