Are Dash Kit Decals Total Junk??
Are Dash Kit Decals Total Junk??
Hello All,
Long time follower, first time poster....
First off, I searched until I was blue in the face trying to find a thread regarding the dash kit decals, so I have resorted to posting. Please, if I have duplicated a post, correct me and send me in the right direction...
Have any of you seen the Decal Dash Kits (i.e. brushed aluminum, wood grain etc..)? They are not full blown dash kits, but rather adhesive surfaces that you install over the factory dash kit. I have yet to find a single review on them, and they look rather nifty.
My main concern is being that I live in Texas, is it going to get so hot that the adhesive begins to lose its 'adhesiveness' and the dash decal begins to come off?
What do you guys think? I have pasted a link to one of the sites where I have seen them for sale. They are markedly cheaper, but is it worth it to pay more and get the legitimate kit?
Thank y'all!

Hey it's your car, if you think they're "NIFTY" then go for it! The wood grain looks best in granny sedans along with the sun bleached baseball caps in the back window....
