HELP! Are The Door Locks And Window Connected To The Motor!?

My drivers side lock will not lock, if I hit the lock button. The drivers side window also does not roll upor down.. when i Hit the window button the button will make a sounds, but nothing.

Do they both share that motor? If so I'm pretty sure my motor is dead or needs to be cleaned.

If not, what could be causing this?

No, the window has its own motor.
You can take the door panel off and clean it, there is a chance that its still good, just dirty. My motor "died" and i was able to resuscitate it by cleaning it.

Not sure what could be wrong with the lock.

Window motors and door lock actuators are fairly common maintenance issues on the G but are relatively easy to change out yourself.
