last week someone broke into my g35 and took my kenwood screen. now im getting insurance to take care of most the expense. theres a pic attached.

now i already know where to get the jdm double din with the ac unit but will a kenwood dnx9980hd fit? and since the robbers messed up my whole dashboard can anyone tell me where i can get new parts, not referbrished unless its in good condition. i also need a new center console and the side trimming. its gonna be a headache getting everything back together. so if i can get some help i would really appreciate it. if yall need more pics let me kno and ill provide more detailed pictures. thanks

ahh dude, that sucks. Sorry to hear. My buddies and I installed this, this past weekend. Now they have more experience with HUs then I did but we all agreed that in our cars... its a pain in *** to do, but it can be done. Does you car have the in car navigation too? That made things harder.
Also what parts need to be replaced? Cant tell much from the pic... If the side panels arent damaged and the clips are still there they should still be good. What else do you need besides the unit itself and the dash kit?

I bought all the stuff I needed from Amazon and Ebay. I got a metra dash kit for 150 and and the HU and all harnesses for $200... and everything has worked out so far.

He will not know part numbers off hand.
You can describe the part to him & he'll know what your referring to.

Or if he's unsure , send me the pics & I'll show him, I'll let you know if he has it & you can work out the price with him via phone.

I owe him money for parts, I will be seeing him tomorrow, I'll show him your pics and get prices for you.

He will have all the parts that you need .

Ok ?

Sorry for your loss, but my bet is you're going to make it right... Even though I was under the impression there was some type of security embedded in the dash that render radio, etc inoperative..
No?

I hate thieves... Especially ones, that just make a mess of everything..

Is your insurance not going to replace all the OEM stuff that was damaged? When my SRT-10 was broken into, insurance covered everything including up to $1000 on the aftermarket stereo. I had to pay the $100 deductible, but that's nothing. They replaced the dash, repainted the door, replaced the door panel, subs, head unit, dash kit, etc.

Damn Herman! I didn't know this happened to you man, you should have texted me.

Either way, check this place out, they have a lot of OEM parts. Give them a call or stop by to see if they have what you need.

http://www.nissanunlimited.com/

If you still don't find what you need there, then shoot me a text. I can point you toward Jonathan since he has a parts car in his garage that he uses to fix up other G's.
