Everything can be considered someone else's poor something.

I'm perfectly content being "middle class" lol

To each their own. I happen to believe that the interiors in Audis are superior to those in Infinitis. The new Ms aren't bad, but the materials in the G line feel delicate and flimsy when compared to the Audi line. The leather in my 05 feels paper thin. I've been in 07s - it really isn't any better.

I'm not comparing performance - there is definitely a trade off - the G performs better. The Audi, IMO, feels like a better quality build inside and it's definitely a quieter cabin.

The G interiors are pretty horrible when it comes to noise in the cabin.. Especially for a car considered by some to be a near-luxury purchase.

Different strokes. I love my G but also have a lot of respect for the Audi line (maintenance woes aside).

Audi also has an buyer expectation from their brand that Infiniti is still trying to achieve. That means nothing to me but it's there nonetheless.

I still get people who get into my car and say 'I had no idea these were this nice inside - I've never seen one before..."

well i can agree with you on some things, but are you comparing a 2012 to a 03-07 g35.. or 03-07 g35 vs 03-07 audi?

comparing brand new vs old isnt that fair lol

A new Infiniti Journey is $35K. A new loaded Accord is $31K..

I guess Hondas are also middle class. Wow.

You're not supposed to drift an A4, that's why he can't pull the e-brake up all the way

I personally was looking into an Audi before I got the G, hell even an early 2000's Carrera. Carrera I didn't wanna deal with the maintenance, not to mention it was a champagne color and an auto.

The A4 as soon as I sat in it, I realized it was too small for my taste. Test drove it and it didn't compare to the G power wise. I was close to buying an A6 but it was a few grand more. The interior takes a huge sh*t on the G's interior. I was looking at the '06 A6. I figured I'd go with the G even though the interior was much nicer on the A6 and larger for maintenance reasons. The A6's interior looks good too. Would still love to own one, but wouldn't want to deal with the cost of keeping it in good health since I'm the type to hold onto a car for quite a while.

That's very true. The G Sedan dwarfs the Audi in interior space - I think it would be more comparable to the A6 in interior dimensions.

Ditto the BMW. People love to compare the G35 to the 3 series (sedan) but the interior of the G is more comparable to the 5.

Actually, I think technically, the Opel GT is considered the 'poor man's porsche'.
