See how it turned out, it's all good. Now you don't have to microwave or run over your aunt like some have suggested.
It's pretty normal from what I've seen for us to be super **** with our cars when we first get them, but you will see over time that a little ding/nick/scratch/whatever is inevitable no matter how careful you are. So no need to overreact, **** happens.

Nice job
Well, just try not to look at it when you walk around your car.
From the picture, you can see that the bump has a little area without the paint already and on your actual body too.
If you take it to a shop, they probably will tell you that if you want the best solution.
You will need to repaint the whole thing.
My car got a deep scratch (you can see the black metal) the other day from the neighbor (my gf's apartment), so I went talk to the neighbor about going to a body shop and get my car fixed.
And he paid for 350 bucks just for it, so I am happy with it.
Because the area I got the deep scratch at, I also had two other deep scratches (you can see the metal =.=).
350 for three deep scratches to be fixed, I am lucky lol
Just an experience about how much a deep scratch can cost you to fix your car lol
I live close to Walnut too

Don't slay your aunt. I didn't slay my father for this one. Like you said, though, touch-up is this sh*t!

It's still extremely noticeable. I bet every single person is going to comment on how bad it is. My mom's car got totaled, and it didn't look as bad as your horrible scratch. I think you should sell the car because the scratch is entirely visible.
Just kidding. You can't even notice it. Relax!
