By dropping the rear of the vehicle you will also increase the weight balance and ultimately shift some weight to the rear axle thus increasing some traction.
Another factor is to widen the track of the tires, aka go with wider wheels/tires.

Unless your **** is broken or you are running some FI there is no way you would be going sideways when going from a roll at 40. Our cars aren't that fast...
