My car overheated!
So I changed my coolant yesterday and everything went smoothly until i started the car. This is when smoke started to come from the inside of the car, but not the engine. So i turned it off and tried to figure out where the smoke was coming from, but couldn't really find out where exactly it was coming from. So i looked online to see what might be the cause and what i found out was that after changing the coolant, most of the time air gets in. So you would need to burb it in order to get the air out. So i got it to burb and now it runs fine, but I'm worried what caused that smoke to come. Did i blow up my head gasket or something else because the smoke was in the trunk and in the car. Also it was almost near H but below 3 marks. I checked it right now and the resvior is almost empty, so i will fill it up to max again, when i get home. It kinda looked like someone just got done hot boxing my car.

same thing happened to me when I changed my coolant couldn't figure out where the smoke came from till this day. I just filled the resvior and made sure all the bubbles were out and everything was fine and temp went back to normal.

The car was working fine this morning and when i got to work i saw the reservoir was empty, so i filled it up to max. Then when i started the car for couple of minutes it was fine, but when i was about to leave work it started to smoke again, but i used the same method again to make it burp because this time it was the coolant in the reservoir that was bubbling not the radiator. Any ideas what this possibly could be? maybe thermostat. I'm going to take it to the dealer on monday, but is there anything i can do to fix it or find out what the problem is.

What I'm thinking is that the thermostat was affected when the car wasn't burped right away after changing it,which causes excessive heat and probably burned the thermostat causing it to heat.
Check all your hoses and make sure they are all tightly sealed. Next make sure there is not a crack in your reservior.
Finally, check your oil and make sure there is no coolant in it.

Put your car on an incline and start it with the radiator cap off. Fill the radiator. Let the car idle until the thermostat opens. Once that happens you will see the coolant drop. Fill the radiator again, put the top on and make sure the reservior is at the appropriate level. This could all take 30 mins or more.

^^i will def do that when i get home today. Should i turn on the heater on full to burb the radiator or just let the car idle. Also, do you know what causes the white smoke to come out from the inside of the car.
you might have a bad radiator..i was having a similiar problem with my 03 sedan the engine temp was reading hot and i saw some smoke.brought it in and was told my radiator plastic side pieces had cracked
