Projector upgrade - ballast/ignitor swap question

Hey guys, I'm in the middle of swapping out my 03 headlights for some 06+ projectors and have a quick question.

I'm moving the ballast and ignitor over but I noticed the old 2003 headlight has a yellow (ground?) wire that attaches the ignitor to the bulb housing. I'm not sure if I need to move this over to the new light or not. And if so, do I just connect it to the screw right beside the bulb or the ones farther down...?

I'm attaching some pics, the first is the 2003 light straight out of my car, and the second is the back of the new headlight.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!!

Just did this a couple months ago, it's not necessary to transfer the yellow wire.
See the two prongs on the left side that protrude out in the new headlight picture? Those achieve the same concept as the standalone wire...grounding

Enjoy your new headlights!

I stumbled across the same issue when I did my swap.

Just leave the yellow wire out bro and your GOOD to go...

Cool, thanks guys. I needed to drive my car so I just put them in. However, I connected the yellow ground on the new lights since I wasn't sure. They still work fine and I'm happy with em! I'm guessing that won't do any harm, just an extra ground.

Here be the pics!

Before....

yummy....

Here are the new ones. OEM 06+ projectors with FX-R clear lenses, color mod and black housings.
