Get it painted for sure! You will not be disappointed!!! I recommend it 100%.

I was on the fence about getting the overlays for the longest time, because I didn't want something permanent. But then after much digging, I found that those who attempted to remove the overlay had paint chip and peeling. So I decided to get it painted by a professional shop and it is simply beautiful and amazing compared to the vinyl.

You will not regret it. Just a FYI, I paid $300 to get it painted.

Roof Overlay costs approximately $90. Having it professionally installed will cost you about $60. Total $150, with no guarantees it will turn out right, or will last a lifetime.

Go with PAINT!

The window tint company in my area does vinyl tops, hoods and tails and it looks great. Check with the window tint company's in your neighborhood!

I upload my pictures on to photobucket and use html tags to post pictures.

I honestly like how painted roofs look because it is much glossier then the overlay, but I felt like it cost too much. I'm still counting on being able to remove the overlay cleanly as well. I used B@t's gloss black overlay and installed it myself (DIY); the total was about $80.
