What would you said is the going rate for having a K2 FG Full body kit painted and installed? Have a 6" crack on front bumper, that he say he can fix for extra $200 - now he's telling me the bumpers are wavy, and will need to sand down to make smooth, because on a black car if painted that way will look like crap. Some screw holes not lining up, and in some places there were no screw holes altogether - the front bumper is not lining up flush against the headlights. Also, the side skirts are not flushed t- here's a small gap when the door's open that's very noticeable - Anybody got this kit that have these problems, and how did you fix it?

Because of all these adjustments, he wants to charge me an extra $600. The original quote was $1500 if he didn't have any of these issues. I'm thinking some of these problems should be expected with an aftermarket kit. Now the total cost is around $2400 - How bad am I getting spanked?

 

If I were in your shoes I'd sell the entire kit & replace it with one made from poly-urethane.

 

who made this kit? sounds like you got poor quality fiberglass parts....

 

Regardless that sounds like rape, I got my entire car repainted and bodykit installed for $2000 cash.

 

Is that just for a front bumper? Sounds like you're being worked over pretty bad
